Exciting lecture by Prof. Tsuhan Chen of Cornell
On March 24, Prof. Tsuhan Chen, Director of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cornell University delivered a lecture entitled “Beyond Face Recognition: Understanding Images of People Using Social Context” to a jam-packed auditorium. The talk was enthusiastically received as Prof. Chen took the audience on a trip through various aspects of human vision psychology to arrive at automated algorithms for name, age and gender assignment of family members in photos based on social-context constraints.
