Kai Guo defends PhD dissertation prospectus

On June 7, 2010, Kai Guo, PhD candidate working under supervision of Profs. Ishwar and Konrad, successfully defended a PhD dissertation prospectus entitled “Action Recognition on Covariance Manifolds” in front of a committee consisting of the advisors, Prof. Clem W. Karl (ECE, BU), Prof. Stan Sclaroff (CS, BU), Prof. Pierre Moulin (ECE, UIUC), and Dr. Fatih Porikli (MERL).
