Paper on optical-digital CNNs published in Optics Letters – October 2024
A paper entitled “Cell classification with phase-imaging meta-sensors” authored by Haochuan Hu, Jianing Liu, Lei Tian, Janusz Konrad, and Roberto Paiella was recently published in Optics Letters. In this work, a meta-surface sensor has been used as the first optical CNN layer followed by one or more digital CNN layers for the classification of cancer cells via phase imaging.
